Our Candidacy

Finland has served on the Security Council twice before, in 1969–70 and 1989–90.
Finland is ready to serve again. Thank you for your support.

Finland is strongly engaged in the work of the UN and will remain so. Therefore, we are standing for election to the Security Council for the term 2029-2030.
